Features

The E-650 has a  Pure Class A operation (30 watts into 8 ohms). It's guaranteed linear power: 120 watts into 2 ohms, 60 watts into 4 ohms, 30 watts into 8 ohms; and the preamplifier and power amplifier sections can be used separately.

Balanced AAVA volume control

One of the key features of the E650 is its Dual Balanced AAVA volume control system. AAVA stands for "Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier," which is a proprietary technology that provides precise and accurate volume control with minimal noise and distortion. The Dual Balanced AAVA system uses two separate AAVA circuits for left and right channels, which helps to maintain perfect channel balance and stereo imaging.

Accuphase E-650 balance terminal

Strong power supply with massive high-efficiency toroidal transformer and large filtering capacitors.

The E-650 uses a massive power transformer with high output capability. Highly effective filtering is realized with two custom-made aluminum electrolytic capacitors, each with a large 50,000 μF rating.
