The Nordost Purple Flare 3 Power Cable provides a high-performance foundation for your hi-fi system, delivering clean, stable power to help connected components perform at their best.

Part of Nordost’s latest Leif 3 range, Purple Flare 3 uses the company’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament construction, creating an air gap around each conductor to minimise dielectric interaction and improve electrical performance. Three 16 AWG conductors made from high-purity 99.9999% oxygen-free copper are individually insulated with FEP, resulting in a low-loss cable designed to deliver current quickly and consistently.

Nordost’s Leif 3 Power Cords are engineered to unlock newfound potential

By reducing the influence of electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference while maintaining strong instantaneous current delivery, Purple Flare 3 can help improve the sense of clarity, dynamics and realism from amplifiers, source components and other hi-fi electronics.

Available with a range of mains plugs including Australian/New Zealand configuration and terminated with an IEC-C15 equipment connector, Purple Flare 3 is an ideal upgrade for systems where dependable, high-quality AC delivery is an important part of overall performance.

Who is this for?

The Nordost Purple Flare III Power Cable is part of Nordost's Leif series, sitting above Blue Heaven for listeners wanting a further step up in performance while remaining in Nordost's entry-level range. It suits established systems ready for a more noticeable improvement in AC power delivery.

It's a strong choice for listeners who have already tried an entry-level Nordost power cable and want to go further, without yet stepping into the mid-range Norse 2 series.
