Vinyl cleaning at Soundline
Soundline Wellington and Christchurch both stock a selection of high quality records. With a particular attention to records repressed from original master tapes for the best possible sound quality, Soundline offers many well know titles, likely sounding better than you have ever heard them. In our range you will find titles from Mobile Fidelity, Analogue Productions, ORG, QRP, RTI, Pure Pleasure, Rhino, and many more. We pick well known titles in their very best possible form, such as Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" 45rpm 180 gram 2LP remaster, or the recent Pink Floyd catalogue reissue. We update our stock regularly so you will always find something new when you are digging in the crates.
Vinyl Cleaning
Vinyl records are an engaging and reward way to collect and listen to music, and we pride ourselves on our knowledge and dedication to the medium. Caring for your records is the one of the most important factors and preserving the enjoyment found within the grooves. As well as stocking various options for record care and protection, Soundline also offers a cleaning service, using the KL Audio LP200 ultrasonic Record cleaner. To experience the difference that a good clean record makes, bring your favourite titles down and see what we can do with them.
Each disc will cost $10 to clean, this involves a 3-4 minute clean cycle and a 4 minute dry cycle in the KL Audio machine, and a Mobile Fidelity archive sleeve. Additionally, every $100 spent on phono related products at Soundline will qualify for one free clean. For example, an Ortofon Quintet Red will qualify for 5 free cleans. Products included are phono cartridges, phono amps, turntables, tonearms etc.
