The E-800S is our flagship model that incorporates the full breadth of Accuphase's accumulated knowledge on integrated amplifiers.
Reviews
At the pinnacle of Class-A amplification, the Accuphase E-800S redefines integrated amplifiers with its perfect blend of performance, reliability, and craftsmanship. Every detail has been carefully engineered, making this amplifier not just a piece of audio equipment but a long-term investment for discerning audiophiles. Built to last decades, the E-800S is designed to deliver uncompromised sound quality, standing tall against more complex pre-power combinations—at a fraction of the cost.

From input to output, the E-800S features a fully balanced signal path, ensuring maximum common-mode noise rejection and signal purity. At its core is Accuphase’s Balanced AAVA (Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier) volume control system, which replaces traditional potentiometers to preserve sonic detail and minimize distortion throughout the listening range.
The power amplification stage is built around an instrumentation amplifier architecture with six-fold parallel push-pull MOS-FETs operating in pure Class-A. This results in controlled, linear power delivery that drives virtually any loudspeaker with authority:
A massive high-efficiency toroidal transformer and large filter capacitors form a power supply that remains rock-steady even under demanding loads, while a damping factor of 1000 delivers exceptionally tight control over speaker drivers. Advanced MOS-FET protection circuitry and integrated speaker output protection guard against faults without compromising performance.
With three balanced XLR inputs plus multiple line inputs, the E-800S integrates seamlessly with high-end sources. Two expansion slots support optional Accuphase boards (DAC or analogue phono), offering future upgrades without adding separate components.
At Soundline, we hold Accuphase products in the highest regard, and the E-800S is no exception. Renowned for legendary build quality, Accuphase amplifiers undergo meticulous testing and design processes that ensure they perform at their peak for decades. Their conservative power ratings often surpass what’s on paper, delivering more power and control than promised.
For those who value pure Class-A sound without the complexity of separate components, the E-800S offers unparalleled value. It provides the uber-high-end performance often seen in much pricier setups, making it an exceptional choice for serious music lovers.
