Quick setup for all day listening

Right out of the box the PULSE 2i uses your home wireless network and sets up quickly. Simply open the BluOS Controller app on your mobile device and follow the short setup instructions. While inside the app users can choose their listening preferences, program presets for their favorite radio stations, music streaming services and playlists, and even set alarms. Once the PULSE 2i is online connectivity stays rock-solid thanks to a new dual band Wi-Fi engine.

The Pulse 2i Wireless Streaming Speaker is feature-rich, app support is excellent, and it has amazing sound to boot. I don’t think Bluesound has perfected it just yet and room correction would be a great improvement. I also feel that if they took a more traditional approach to the design and went with a true three-way driver setup it could sound even better. At this price point, I do expect a lot from this product, it gets a solid B+ from me. I can’t wait to see what else Bluesound has cooking up for us in the future.

If you need a single chassis speaker though, it’s hard to ignore just how good the Pulse 2i is across so many different functions. What it offers is excellent performance across the very wide selection of features and functions it possesses. No less importantly, it ties it together with a control and user experience that is genuinely excellent.
