The GO link bridges the gap in your listening experience by connecting corded headphones and earphones to digital devices without a 3.5mm output. Even if a headphone socket is available, the GO link provides a major audio upgrade with its advanced DAC and headphone amp, surpassing the built-in audio of most smart devices and computers. Elevate your sound with the GO link.

A small, slim and supremely inexpensive DAC

Flexible friend

The GO link features a USB-C connector on one end and and at the other is the DAC and headphone amp circuitry, both encased in durable, lightweight magnesium alloy. A 6cm flexible cable in between allows for practical use, angling the DAC/amp toward the listener and minimizing strain on the connected USB port.

Do the twist

The GO link cable features silver-plated copper conductors, each with polymer insulation in a twisted pair design. This setup optimizes inductance, capacitance, and reduces noise interference from nearby electronics, ensuring clear, undistorted sound for an uninterrupted listening experience.

Move with the music

The GO link doesn’t rely on the software-based volume controls in connected digital devices. This can adversely affect audio resolution. Instead, adjusting the volume on the connected device controls the volume level in the GO link’s DAC. This hardware-based control ensures superior sound performance, unaffected by the limitations of your device's software.

Hi-res in glorious colour

The GO link’s hi-res audio credentials are highly impressive given its diminutive size and price tag.

  • PCM  to 32-bit/384kHz
  • DSD to 11.2MHz (DSD256)
  • MQA

An LED changes colour to indicate the incoming audio format – PCM, DSD or MQA – and the PCM/DSD sample rate.

Who is this for?

Who is this for?

This diminutive DAC is purpose-built for the listener who refuses to compromise on sound quality when away from their main system. If you're commuting with a pair of Focal Clear MGs or Sennheiser HD 660S2s, streaming Qobuz through your laptop during work hours, or simply want legitimate hi-res performance from your smartphone, the Go Link transforms these scenarios from acceptable to genuinely engaging. It's for the enthusiast who knows that the standard 3.5mm output from consumer devices is leaving resolution, dynamics, and tonal accuracy on the table.

Because this is a portable solution, room acoustics become irrelevant—you're listening through headphones in trains, cafés, hotel rooms, or your office. What matters here is that your headphones are efficient enough to be driven by the Go Link's balanced 4.4mm output, which delivers up to 120mW into 32 ohms. Most audiophile-grade portable and mid-impedance over-ear headphones will sing with this kind of clean power. IEMs naturally excel here, though the Go Link has the grunt to wake up surprisingly demanding cans for a device this size.

Within your broader system, think of the Go Link as your reference-quality bridge between digital sources and personal listening. It occupies the same role as your desktop stack or living room separates, but condensed into a form factor that lives on your keychain. Connect it via USB-C to any phone, tablet, or laptop, and you're effectively carrying a component-grade digital front end wherever your listening takes you.

Reviews

The iFi Go Link feels like the perfect device for enhancing your headphones on the move and on a budget, living up to its brief of providing discernible sonic enhancements in a portable package without forcing you to fork out a fortune for the pleasure. Choose your apt analogy – Luton Town FC, Bruce Lee, Peter Crouch – the iFi Go Link joins the pantheon of performers punching well above their weight.

Yes this is worth the price in my opinion for the value it provides. You can easily get a more powerful dac or one with balanced output from ChiFi brands but ifi is ifi lol. But seriously tho, if you a decent sounding dac from a renowned and trust worthy brand, this is a fantastic option.

It’s robustly made, properly finished, light and portable – and it does what it does in fine style. If you want to maximise your portable and/or desktop audio experience without spending an arm and a leg, you really can’t go wrong here.
