With increased processing power and expanded storage capacity, it delivers greater flexibility for upsampling and downsampling—up to DSD256—while enhancing overall audio performance and ensuring long-term future-proofing.

External dual-toroidal linear power supply

Crafted from a solid billet of aluminium using the same precision techniques as the main chassis, this model offers exceptional build quality and rigidity. The thick aluminium walls provide superior shielding against interference, ensuring the purest possible signal path. Inside, the digital and analogue circuits are carefully separated to minimise noise and distortion, while a low-noise linear regulator ensures stable, clean power delivery. Every element has been designed with performance in mind, using only the highest quality components throughout.

Femto clock system

A unique algorithm developed by LUMIN ensures perfect synergy with the LUMIN Discrete DAC, delivering seamless integration and remarkable sonic precision. Dual Femto crystal oscillators provide exceptional clock accuracy, while an advanced FPGA manages precision clock distribution throughout the system. Built-in Optical Network

First introduced with the acclaimed LUMIN X1 and now featured across the range, this innovative network design provides complete isolation from the rest of the home network for the purest possible signal transmission. Using an industry-standard SFP connection for maximum compatibility, it ensures optimal performance with a wide range of network setups. In addition, dual network ports allow direct connection of other equipment—such as a NAS—simplifying system architecture and reducing potential noise sources.
