Monitor Audio

RST III Bass/Mid Driver & Motor System

The all-new RST III C-CAM cone and motor system in the Radius 4G represents a significant evolution in Monitor Audio's metal cone and driver technology. The bass/mid drivers have undergone full FEA optimisation, improving driver surround, spider and chassis design to reduce breakup and reduce resonances.
Larger magnets, improved voice coil, and enhanced venting, it delivers greater control, reduced distortion and improved dynamic range. Complementing this is the new C-CAM Gold Dome Tweeter with an optimised UD Waveguide, ensuring smooth, extended high frequencies, precise dispersion, and seamless integration with the RST III driver. The result is a speaker that offers remarkable clarity, punch, and immersive high-fidelity performance in a compact, versatile form.

Through-Bolt Driver Bracing

Through-bolt driver technology secures each driver directly to the cabinet via a tensioned bolt running through to the rear panel, allowing the drive units to be precisely braced and tightened to an exact torque. This creates a rigid, low-resonance structure that ensures both driver and cabinet remain structurally strong, significantly reducing unwanted chassis and cabinet vibrations. The result is lower colouration, improved clarity, tighter bass, and a more controlled, refined overall performance.

HiVe II Port Technology

The refined HiVe Il ports on Radius 4G are engineered to deliver cleaner, faster airflow, reducing turbulence and minimising unwanted chuffing. On the all-new Radius 3 model, the ports have been enlarged by 50% compared to the previous generation, further enhancing smooth airflow and delivering tighter, more controlled bass performance.

Crossover

The Radius 4G features carefully engineered crossovers, each is optimised to deliver seamless integration between the C-CAM Gold Dome Tweeter and RST III driver. Precision components ensure smooth, balanced frequency response, tight imaging, and coherent sound, allowing the speaker to reproduce music and dialogue with clarity, impact, and true high-fidelity accuracy.

Design-led Compact Performance

A focussed three-product, compact, design-focused speaker range engineered to blend seamlessly into contemporary interiors while maintaining high-performance audio.

Big Sound, Minimal Footprint

Utilises advanced driver technology to deliver clear, detailed sound with surprising scale from ultra-small enclosures, building on the series' legacy of high-fidelity performance.

Scalable for Any Space

Highly versatile system architecture, enabling everything from discreet stereo setups to full multi-channel home cinema configurations with matching subwoofers.

Who is this for?

The Monitor Audio Radius On-Wall 4G speakers are ideal for anyone who wants high-quality sound without bulky speakers or floor-standing equipment. Their slim, wall-mounted design makes them a great choice for modern living rooms, TV installations and home theatre systems where a clean, uncluttered appearance is just as important as sound quality.

They’re particularly well suited to home cinema enthusiasts looking for clear dialogue, detailed effects and an immersive listening experience without compromising their interior design. Equally, they make an attractive option for music lovers wanting discreet stereo speakers that can be positioned neatly around a room. Pair them with a compatible subwoofer for deeper bass and a more complete home entertainment experience.

What are the Monitor Audio Radius On-Wall 4G speakers?
The Radius On-Wall 4G speakers are slim, wall-mounted passive loudspeakers designed to deliver high-quality sound without taking up valuable floor space. Their low-profile design makes them particularly well suited to modern living rooms, TV installations and home theatre systems where performance and aesthetics are equally important.

Can the Radius On-Wall 4G be mounted horizontally or vertically?
The speakers can be mounted in either orientation, giving you flexibility when positioning them around a television or integrating them into a home cinema system. The Monitor Audio logo can also be repositioned for a clean appearance.

Are the Monitor Audio Radius On-Wall 4G speakers suitable for home theatre?
Absolutely. They are an excellent choice for home theatre systems, providing clear dialogue, detailed effects and an immersive soundstage. They can be used as front left and right speakers, a centre speaker or surround speakers, depending on your room layout and system requirements.

Do the Radius On-Wall 4G speakers need an amplifier?
Yes. These are passive speakers and require a compatible stereo amplifier or AV receiver. They have a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, with a minimum impedance of 4.4 ohms, so choose an amplifier capable of driving this load.

How much power do the Radius On-Wall 4G speakers need?
Monitor Audio recommends amplifier power of 50–100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, or 100–200 watts into 4 ohms. The speakers have a continuous power handling rating of 100 watts, making them suitable for a range of quality stereo and home theatre amplifiers.

Can I use the Radius On-Wall 4G speakers with a subwoofer?
Yes. Pairing them with a powered subwoofer is an excellent way to extend bass response and add impact to films, music and games. A subwoofer is particularly worthwhile in home theatre systems where deep, powerful bass is an important part of the experience.

What sound quality can I expect from the Radius On-Wall 4G?
The speakers combine two 4.5-inch C-CAM RST III bass-mid drivers with a 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter. This combination is designed to deliver clear, detailed high frequencies, accurate midrange reproduction and a coherent soundstage. Their in-room frequency response extends from 69 Hz to 35 kHz, with a subwoofer recommended for deeper bass.

What is the benefit of the slim on-wall design?
The slim, 78 mm-deep cabinet sits close to the wall, creating a discreet installation that works particularly well beside or beneath a television. It is an ideal alternative to conventional bookshelf speakers when you want quality sound without speaker stands or bulky cabinets.

Are the Radius On-Wall 4G speakers sold individually or as a pair?
They are sold individually, allowing you to purchase the exact number required for your system. For a conventional stereo setup, you will need two speakers, while a home theatre installation may require three, five or more depending on the configuration.

Can I use the Radius On-Wall 4G speakers for music as well as movies?
