The Amati Generation G5 floorstanding speaker channels the visionary brilliance of Nicolo Amati, the Italian renaissance violin maker who understood the link between artistic form and musical function. New technology delivers balanced sound with stunning detail matching the elegance of the Amati’s exterior design.
The Amati Generation G5 is equipped with a stunning new midrange driver and woofer. Powerful Neodynium magnets drive with power, control and precision in the midrange. The new woofer leverages ultralight CCAW voice coils in a neodymium slug for speed, with improved power and heat handling.
The spider and surround were redesigned using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), which translates to long-lasting detailed sound that won't muffle or overheat the Amati Generation G5 system.
A standard soft dome tweeter will often exhibit early high-frequency roll-off. The D.A.D. tweeter ensures better high-frequency reproduction by dampening the apex of the silk soft dome tweeter, avoiding anti-phase behaviour.
The Homage Collection is steeped in tradition but doesn't shy away from adopting new technology to replicate the sensation of a live performance inside any space.
The Amati contains a major new innovation for the collection: InTono. Thanks to the internal cabinet's special structure, which reduces the acoustic pressure generated within a given frequency range, these new loudspeakers always produce midrange frequencies free of any coloration.
Stealth Ultraflex improves the aerodynamic flow of the air stream emitted by the reflex ducts and is an integral part of the system. The extruded aluminum parts give further structural rigidity to the cabinet and now come in a beautiful deep grey brushed aluminum finish. Homage’s iconic wood lute-shaped cabinets are now available in three stunning finishes: Graphite, Wengè and Red.
