When it comes to selecting products for our own homes, overwhelmingly the combination that we at Soundline either have or aspire to normally includes Accuphase amplification and Sonus Faber speakers.
The Accuphase E-380 integrated amplifier is the beating heart of this system. A real sweet-spot in the Accuphase range and probably our best selling amplifier. The E-380 offers enough power to drive almost any loudspeaker with ease and it does it with levels of refinement and musicality which we could not have imagined from an integrated amplifier just a few years ago. The E-380 offers a musical performance of amazing transparency and dynamism.
Combine the "Swiss-Watch-like" build-quality, precision and authoritative power of the Japanese-made Accuphase amplifier with the sublime musicality, life-like realism and stunning aesthetics of the Italian-made Sonus Faber Olympica Nova II speakers and you have a system which offers true high-end performance with ease of use and looks which will please everyone in your home.
When we were putting together our system packages, this is one which there was zero debate from the Soundline team on, we all agreed that at this budget level, this system is hard to beat. Whether your listening habits are more classical and jazz or reggae and rock this system has the levels of refinement and acoustic scale to play all types of music amazingly well. If you are looking for a music system to give you and your family decades of enjoyment, you owe it to yourself to audition this system.
Stunning looks, a massive soundstage and superbly natural voicing, the Olympica Nova II is a speaker you will want to live with.
Since 1983, many moments have marked the history of Sonus Faber; the launch of the Olympica Collection in 2013 is one of them. One of the first lines presented as a complete family of products, but above all, the very first one to feature original drivers, entirely designed in Sonus Faber.
Olympica Nova is the second generation of the iconic family of 2013, improved in its form and substance, imbued with the timeless values that inspired Sonus Faber in creating the original range. The result is a new Collection that embraces the most advanced technologies that already enhance their most prestigious creations.
With its discrete dimensions, Olympica Nova II is the smallest floor stander of the Nova collection, but it has everything needed to satisfy any acoustic requirement. Don’t be fooled by its discretion, its voice is imbued with an amazing character.
"Sonus Faber’s Olympica Nova IIs are classy speakers, in the very nicest sense of that word. I don’t think you will find any other pair of speakers that will look better in your living room (unless it’s another pair of Sonus Fabers), and their sound quality is everything you could want – and more – from such modestly-sized cabinets." One of our most popular amplifiers, for good reason. The E-380 realizes a 20% increase in rated output power over its predecessor thanks to a reinforced power amplification stage and power supply. The further evolved AAVA volume control system allows music enjoyment at any level without even the slightest degradation of signal quality. The power amplifier section utilizes the instrumentation amplifier principle to achieve an outstanding S/N ratio. Low impedance design of the output circuitry results in a damping factor of 500, ensuring that the potential of every speaker can be brought out to the fullest. Enjoy a musical performance of amazing transparency and dynamism.
