The high-quality wood cabinet has been further enhanced with a new concrete base, providingsuperior stability and better vibration management for impeccable sound performance.

The woofer features a paper pulp sandwich cone for precise and dynamic bass response, paired with an organic basket for optimal air flow. Motors include aluminum demodulation rings to improve linearity.

The Sonus faber Sonetto III G2 showcases an exquisite blend of Italian craftsmanship and acoustic innovation, starting with its meticulously designed driver array. At the top end, a 1.1″ Silk Damped Apex Dome™ (DAD) tweeter—complete with an Arrow-Point design and copper shorting ring—delivers breathtaking high-frequency detail with remarkable smoothness and precision. This is paired with a 6.5″ midwoofer that features a paper-pulp sandwich cone, enhanced by an aluminum demodulation ring and a uniquely sculpted “flower-petal” surround. Inspired by nature, this design helps break up unwanted resonances, ensuring an open and lifelike midrange presentation.

Lower frequencies are handled by a matching 6.5″ woofer housed in a dedicated enclosure, tuned with a downward-firing reflex port integrated into the speaker’s solid concrete base. This thoughtful configuration extends the bass with remarkable depth and control, while minimizing vibration and cabinet coloration.
