Sonetto V is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker with an intense and lively timbre. It captures the dramatic elements of sound to make music the protagonist. Sonetto V is able to characterize even the largest rooms, with a rich and lively sound.
Sonus faber has always found its inspiration in the highest Italian culture. This time we looked to the history of our literature to represent the new Sonetto Collection.
The Sonetto (Sonnet) is the most ancient Italian poetic structure. Originally it meant 'Sound, or melody' and was traditionally used to accompany musical performances. The first step into the Sonus faber world bears the name of the foundations of literature in Italy and in the rest of the world.
All the speakers in the Sonus faber Sonetto collection are identified by their easy use and for their ability to be a versatile solution for any kind of environment. Our goal is to make the Music the real protagonist.

Bottom line, there was nothing I threw at the Sonettos that I felt they couldn’t do justice to. The Sonettos prove they can play loud when the need arises. Even at eviction notice levels, these speakers did not distort, bottom the woofer cones, or exhibit soundstage collapse. This is a great pair of speakers that can play whatever you enjoy without excuse. more...
