Offering ample power, robust build, and good value, the Technics SU-G700M2 Grand Class integrated amplifier sounded great in my reference system.

Such is the quality of the new SU-G700 mk2 that I often forgot I was listening to a mid-price integrated amplifier – as opposed to my normal high-end pre/power – and started scribbling uncomplimentary things in my listening notes. That's how good the Technics is.

The SU-G700 manages to do a great deal of what its bigger brother does at a much more terrestrial price point. This is well specced, well made and invigorating sounding amplifier at a keen price that deserves to be on any shortlist.
