The Lumina II maintains a compact and versatile design perfect for placement within a bookcase or shelving unit, or can be positioned on a stand as a rear channel in a home theater system. Lumina II enriches the range of two-way speakers in the Lumina family, offering a perfect solution for a small system, while also able to fill any room with sound.

The Lumina range from Sonus faber embodies luxury, minimalist design and natural sound, as well as components and technologies inherited from higher end models. Surfaces of the cabinet are wrapped in iconic black leather, while the chrome rings around the drivers highlight shapes and proportions and give brightness to the front baffle, defining the voice of Sonus faber.

Large volume in a compact design

The cabinet of the collection is perfectly squared- the Sonus faber design department executed this minimalistic design in order to emphasise the quality of materials used. A careful study of proportions was carried out to guarantee accurate volumes for sound performances and compact dimension for set-up.

Multichannel systems and multimedia solutions are perfect for Lumina, offering excellent room coverage for audiences to enjoy a captivating and authentic experience from every seat in the room. In the time I’ve been testing them, even when critical listening time has ended, I’ve found myself continuing to play them, delighting in what they can do. The Lumina II does everything its little brother does but that bit better and for that reason, it comes Highly Recommended.

Despite being one of the most affordable offerings from Sonus Faber, the Lumina II offers the natural, open and detailed sound that the brand is known for, and that it does so in such a gorgeous package and at a low cost is remarkable.

The speakers may belong to Sonus faber’s entry-level Lumina collection, but there is no entry-level at all in their exhibited performance. If you are looking for high-performing, small bookshelf speakers, I highly recommend giving the Lumina II speakers a listen.
